Gladys Helpenstell, born on November 24, 1924 in Livingston, Texas to Richard Snelling and Beulah G. McKay Snelling passed away on September 24, 2014 in Livingston, Texas at the age of 89. Those left to cherish her memory are nephew, John Davis Jr. wife Anna nephew, Alan Maitland and wife Elaine nephew Frank and Carol Ann nephew, David Maitland niece, Carolyn Davis sisterinlaw, Avis Maitland brotherinlaw Harold Belo step greatnieces, Rebecca Bowman Mary E. Bowman greatgreat niece Cadynce Moore greatgreat nephew, Cameron Moore numerous other relatives and a host of dear friends. Gladys is preceded in death by both her parents husband, Travis S. Helpenstell sister, Carolyn E. Davis sisterinlaw, Sylvia Belo. Gladys was a member of Central Baptist Church in Livingston, Texas. Gladys owned her own Insurance Agency in Livingston for many years.
