"I know this is 19 years late but I felt compelled to let his family know what an impact he made on my life.
I was a machinist at TI who went to school at night to get my bachelors degree. When I finished I put together a resume, and asked for a meeting with the plant manager, Joe Dial. I will always remember how I felt when o left the office…h we really cared, even though he just met me. It was a slow time for hiring at that time, but he kept that resume and 1 year later handed it to a manager, who gave me a new opportunity in the manufacturing engineer department. That job was the start of a 35 year career. I know there were so many times I told others how Joe Dial was the start of my career . I will always remember and be indebted to him.. and only wish I could tell him thanks one more time. Thanks to the family for sharing him with us! Thank you Joe Dial. I will see you again some day!!"

"I grew up with Joel Wayne in Wake Village and remember him and Neta Sue and their parents fondly. After leaving Wake Village, my parents kept me abreast of Joel Wayne over the years...especially after his transplant. Heartfelt condolences to his family and friends."
