Funeral servies for Jerry Lee Stanley, age 57, was held Monday at 11:30 am, November 26,2007 at Pace Funeral Home. Chaplin Ronnie Moore officiated. Vivitation was held Sunday evening from 5:00 to 7:00 pm. Burial will follow in the Peebles Cemetery in Livingston.
Jerry was born April 12,1950 in Beaumont, Texas to Lloyd G. Stanley, Sr. and Lily Stanley Wolczak. He passed away November 18,2007 to go to his new eternal home with his Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ. at the Richmond State School in Richmond, Texas.
He was preceded in death by his parents and brother, Lloyd G. Stanley, Jr. He is survived by two brothers.
Jerry was a collector of badges and aspired to be a Sheriff. He attended worship services weekly and often sung his favorite hymn, The Old Rugged Cross, as a solo.
Jerry left behind a multitude of friends who truly miss visiting with him and will meet with him again in heaven someday.
