Funeral services for Virgil M. Reeves, age 91, will be held Friday, November 9,2007 in the Pace Funeral Home Chapel, at 10:00 AM, with Rev. Paul Mattlen and Rev. Nathan Scoggins officiating. Burial will followed at Farleys Chapel in Shepherd, Texas.
Mr. Reeves passed away November 6,2007, at his residence in Diboll, Texas. He was born in Houston County, Texas, September 9,1916. He was a Farmer.
He is preceded in death by his father and mother Johnny and Willie Reeves, his wife Frances Reeves and three children; Floyd, Dottie and Marie Reeves.
Surviving him are his children; Beverly Gail McDonald, Anahuac, Texas, James Russell Reeves, Liberty, Texas, Richard Melvin Reeves, Pollok, Texas, Debbie L. Cross, Onalaska, Texas, Randy Reeves, Quitman, Arkansas and Kelvin Reeves, Diboll, Texas. Three brothers Robert Reeves, Center, Tx, Bud Reeves, Florida, Dub Reeves, Jasper, Tx and one sister Minnieola Reeves from Texas. A host of grandchildren, great grandchildren, family and friends.
Pallbearers will be, Russell Taylor, Alex Reeves, Timothy Reeves, Christopher Smith, Garson Evans and Toby Reeves.
