Flora Belle Sutton Pifer of Lafayette, Louisiana born on March 8, 1937 in Belle Glade, Florida to Henry B. Kaehn and Carrie Esther Kaehn, entered into peaceful rest on November 11, 2013 at the age of 76. Those left to cherish her memory are her husband of five years, Mel Pifer son, Perron Sutton daughter, Tammy Friz and husband Daniel granddaughters, Patience Emily Anne Friz, Elizabeth Joy Friz and Olivia Grace Friz daughters, Janny Foreman, Robbie Pifer and Renae Grimm son, Mike Pifer grandchildren, Anna Richard, Brandon Pifer, Micah Pifer and Aaron Pifer sister, Dolly Reese sister in law, Billie Becker nieces and nephews other relatives and a host of friends. Flora is preceded in death by both her parents a loving husband of 53 years, Larry Sutton brother, Lewis Kaehn sisters, Margaret Posey, Alice Cropson and Nellie Mae Kaehn.
Flora was a member of the Living Church of God in Lafayette Louisiana. She was a dedicated person to everyone she met. She loved spending time with her family, was thoughtful to everyone and always had a radiant sunny smile. Flora was quite the crafter and enjoyed sewing throughout her life. Larry and Flora owned their own Janitorial business where she was the accountant. Flora was known as a servant for all those she knew and always gave of herself to others.
