Geraldine Toby Kent, born December 9, 1932 in Livingston, Texas to Gerald and Maurine Bishop Patterson went to be with her Lord February 28, 2013 in Livingston, Texas at the age of 80 years.
She was a Southwestern Bell Pioneer retiring as a superintendant after many years of service. After retirement, she spent her time operating Green Oaks RV Park and loving her family.
Her loving family includes sons, Gerald Kent and wife Susan, Larry Kent brother, Nelson Billy Patterson sisters Mickey Kley Stephens, Wanda Ward and Charlotte Gibson sisterinlaw, Wanda Patterson grandchildren, Tabitha Bland, Tammy Schneider, Bobby Arnold greatgrandchildren, Destin, Kaydin, Case, Morgan, Alyssa, Matthew, Jacob and Davallen nephews, Rick Patterson and Fred Benzing nieces, Debbie Perez, Beck Patterson, Jennie KleyBeasley and Joanna Bethany Parham, plus numerous other relatives and a host of friends.
A visitation will be held from 5pm till 9pm Friday March 1, 2013 at Pace Funeral Home. A Celebration of Tobys life will begin at 2pm Saturday March 2, 2013 at Pace Funeral Home with Pastor Howard Daniel, Jr. officiating. Interment will be at Mt. Rose Cemetery.
