Funeral services for Mary Alice Cain, age 76, of Segno, will be held Thursday, September 27,2007, at 2:00 PM in the Pace Funeral Home Chapel, with Rev. Rex Hendrix and Rev. Mitchell Murphy officiating. Interment will follow in Magnolia Hill Cemetery, in Segno, Texas. Visitation was held Wednesday evening from 5:00 to 9:00 PM.
She loved to cook and garden and spend time with her grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
Mrs. Cain is preceded in death by her husband, the late Marshall Cain, Sr. Two sisters, Estella Loftin and Lounell Steagall.
She is survived by her two sons: Marshall Cain, Jr and wife Kay, John Michael Cain and wife Denise. One daughter Sissie Hendrix and husband Gary. One brother: Tom Gay and wife Mildred. A sister Lea Kuirtz, Brother-in-law - Fredrick Wayne Cain and wife Neda, sister-in-law: Georgia Cain. Five grandchildren and ten great grandchildren.
Pallbearers will be: Michael Cain, Rodney Hendrix, Chad Summers, Bradley Farrar, Joel Hendrix and Wesley Cain. Honorary Pallbearers will be Buddy Steagall, Wayne Russell, Virgil Cain, James Richard Gay and Tony Yaw.
