Herbert Ray Brown deceased Friday, August 11,2006.
Mr. Brown, retired to Onalaska 15 years ago where he continued his love of gardening and enjoyed his many woodworking projects. He was a member of Onalaska First Baptist Church. He served in the Navy during WWII on the U.S. S. Estes. He was preceded in death by his first wife Virginia whom he shared 18 years of his life. Also preceded in death by son John Lilley..
He is survived by his loving wife of 35 years Johnnie Mae Brown, Brother T.J. Brown and Sister, Mary Bell boutwell, and faithful friend David Manning, Son David Brown and Sharon, Son, Tom Lilley and Hazel , Son-in-law, Russell smith, daughter Dianne Smith, daughter-in-law Mary Brown, daughter-in-law Judy Munoz and Robert, grandson, Nathan Brown, Clay Lilley and Lona, Scott Lilley and Kristi, Casey Lilley, Ryan Lilley and Tierney, granddaughter Natalie Byrd and Dan, Nikki Hinkle and C.W., Erica Brown and Kyle, Virginia smith. Great-grandchildren, Christian and Ethan Brown, Lillian Byrd, Thaddeus Lilley, Payton Chism, Dakota Mareett, Cole Hutchins, Trenton and Clayton Brown. Maryan and Eli Lilley and Ryleigh and Steelie Ledbetter.
Memorial services were held Saturday August 12, at the Onalaska First Baptist Church. In lieu of flowers the family asks that donations be made to the Onalaska First Baptist Church.
