Edna Hart Hill Burton was born on October 20, 1923 to J. B. Hill and Ferbie Adline Garner in Amity, Arkansas passed away on December 28, 2012 in Livingston, Texas at the age of 89. Edna was a member of Melrose Baptist Church in Houston, Texas. She belonged to the VFW Ladies Aux. of Houston and the Livingston Red Hat Society Edna moved to Livingston, Texas and retired after the death of her husband Jordan Garrett Burton. Edna is survived by children, Alice Ridgeway and husband Kenneth, Rebecca Middleton and husband Richard, Sue Jones and husband Ben, Allen Burton and wife Doreen and Stan Burton and wife Becky Seven grandchildren and seven great grandchildren Numerous other family and a host of friends.
Edna is preceded in death by both her parents loving husband Jordan Garrett Burton three brothers six sisters one grandson, Ricky. A Celebration of Ednas life will be at 12:00 PM on December 31, 2012 at Pace Funeral Home in Livingston, Texas with Pastor Harold Isaacs officiating.
