Gary Lee Catfish Compton, 57 of Segno passed away on Saturday August 25, 2007 in Montgomery. Funeral services will be held Wednesday August 29, 2007 at 10:30AM in the Pace Funeral Home chapel with the Rev. Tolbert Hudsbeth officiating. Burial will follow at 2:00PM in the New Prospect Cemetery in Timpson. A visitation will be held Tuesday August 28, 2007 from 6:00PM until 9:00PM in the Pace Funeral Home chapel.
Mr. Compton is preceded in death by his parents B.C. and Doris Joy Compton. He is survived by his loving wife of 9 years Micheale Compton of Segno, their children Rodney Bryant and wife Erica of Richmond, Virginia, Tracy Ayarza of Houston, Donna Radcliffe and husband Rhett of Okinawa, Japan, and Suzanne Cook of Houston, their grandchildren Stefan Stone, Jonathan Ayarza, Joshua Ayarza, Jessica Ayarza, Taran Radcliffe, Gabrielle Radcliffe, Samuel Marks, Tyler Cook, Brian Cook and Bradley Cook. A host of extended family and friends survive him as well.
Serving as pallbearers will be Bubba Hughes, Randy Oswalt, William Price, Bill Price, Jesse Basham, and Gary Gilliam.
