James Olan Hank Chamblee, born January 25, 1923 in Sour Lake, Texas to E.A. Necie Horn Chamblee passed away July 3, 2012 in Livingston, Texas at the age of 89 years.
Hank was a veteran of the United States Army having served in WW II. He was retired from Union Oil, Nederland, Texas.
Hank is survived by his wife of 65 years Mable Ruth Loftin Chamblee sister Gladys Moffitt sons, James Olan Chamblee, Jr. and wife Cheryl, Elbert Wayne Chamblee and wife Diane and Jud Chamblee and wife Tammi grandchildren, Amy Leipzig and husband Ben, Laura Franek and husband Ron, Jacob Chamblee, Tristin Crow and husband Tim great grandchildren, Jacob Leipzig and Maggie Franek. He is preceded in death by his parents, sisters, Bonnie, Marie, Jewell and Margie, and brothers, Red, EJ and IC.
