Leonard J. Flynn Jr., of Clinton, Iowa, passed away on July 15,2007 after a brief illness, at the Dogwood Trails Manor in Woodville, Texas. He will be buried in the Clinton Memorial Park Cemetery in Clinton, Iowa.
Leonard graduated from St. Mary's High School in 1944 and served in the U.S. Navy immediately after graduation. He attended Bradley University in Peoria, Illinois. He married Dolores Darlene Dahl June 26,1948 and they were married for 57 years, until her death in April 2006. He worked as a letter carrier in Clinton for 30 years.
He is preceded in death by his wife Dolores Darlene Dahl, His mother and father, Angela and Leonard J. Flynn; one sister and a grandson.
His survivors include his two sons; Michael Flynn of Iowa and Brian Flynn and wife Pam of Iowa. His two daughters; Julee Behrens and husband Jerald of Livingston and Judee Flynn of Acworth, Ga. Eight grandchildren and six great-grandchildren.
