Henry Wayne Collins, 52, of Livingston, TX died on February 2, 2012 at Lufkin Memorial Hospital. He was born June 20, 1959 at Stillwater, Oklahoma.
A Celebration of life was held on February 4, 2012. Services were conducted by Bro. Glen Hearren.
Wayne was one of gods special children. He will be greatly missed by the people who had an opportunity to share a part of his life. He will leave a void in the lives of those who loved him.
Wayne suffered from a brain injury due to a birth injury or from having the whooping cough as an infant. The doctors said he wouldnt live to be two years old, but prayers were answered and he was given many more years. He was cared for in his parents home his entire 52 years.
Wayne was cheerful and meek and was a blessing to all those whose life he touched. We will miss him very much, but rejoice that he is now in the presence of God.
Wayne is survived by his parents, Henry and Janis Collins his brother, David Collins of Kingwood, Texas uncles are Mac Collins of Jackson, Georgia and Willie Collins of Bowling Green, Florida aunt Marian Marshall of Santa Maria, California.
He is preceded in death by his grandparents, Henry and Bessie Collins of Jackson, Georgia and Ernest and Josephine Williams of Shawnee, Oklahoma.
Wayne was an amazing gift from God. He taught us many lessons that might have, without him, gone unlearned.
We thank God for Waynes beautiful life. We know that now he is healthy. He will always be remembered as a blessing and an angel on earth.
