Nelda Joyce Shanks 62, of Livingston passed away Thursday June 7, 2007 in Lufkin. A memorial service will be held in her honor Monday June 11, 2007 at 1:00 PM in the Pace Funeral Home chapel.
Nelda is preceded in death by her mother Cleo Reed Todd, husband Donald O. Shanks, and brothers Howard Rodger Shapley, and Jack Lowell Shapley. Survivors include her son Michael Rex Shapley, daughters Tracy M. Davis and husband Jerry, Brandi N. Pope and husband Benny, step daughter Angie Shanks. Also surviving her are 2 brothers, 3 sisters and 14 grandchildren and 2 great grandchildren.
