Abbie A. Duff, 99 of Huntington, TX, went to be with her Lord, Monday, September 19, 2011 in Hospice In The Pines in Lufkin, TX. Mrs. Duff was born in Polk County, July 30, 1912. She devoted much of her life taking care of her mother, family, brothers, sisters and others. She was a member of Menard Baptist Church. She quilted until she was 97 years old piecing numerous quilts together and giving them to family members. She is survived by numerous nieces, nephews and great nieces and nephews. Abbie is preceded in death by her parents Rev. Amos A. and Alice KervinDuff and 20 brothers and sisters. Visitation will be held Thursday, September 22, 2011 from 1:00 PM until service at 2:00 PM at Pace Funeral Home with Bro. Frank Aragon officiating. Pallbearers will be Amos Duff, Andy Duff, Todd Smith, Amos Duff, Jr., Mickey Hollingsworth, with honorary pallbearers, Worth Haggerton, Robert Duff and Herbert Richardson.
