In Loving Memory

Ronald Douglas Bays

Passed Away On May 14, 2007
At Age 55 years
Resident of Livingston, TX
✦ ✦ ✦

Ronald Douglas Bays, 54, of Livingston passed away Monday, May 14, 2007. A service in his honor will be held Friday, May, 18, 2007 at 2 pm in the Pace Funeral Home Chapel with Pastor Roger Gragg officiating. Visitation will be 5 pm until 9 pm Thursday, May 17, 2007 at Pace Funeral Home.

Ronald had a wonderful sense of humor. He loved telling Aggie jokes, and adored the Laffy Taffy jokes he would get from the wrappers. It was not uncommon for him to buy bags of them only to get the jokes. He loved going to garage sales and looking for antiques. Ronald also enjoyed hunting and fishing with his family and friends. Most of all, he will be remembered as a genuine man, who encouraged others with his care free spirit.

Ronald is survived by his family whom he treasured. Parents; Ward and Marion Bays, wife Debbie Westbrook Bays, sons Travis Bays and wife Jill, Larry Currey and wife Sondra, daughter Misty Winslett and husband Chris, brothers Michael Bays and wife Barbara, Richard Bays, and wife Jan. And his adoring grandchildren Jamie Harris, Ryan Winslett, Christopher Winslett, Hastidy Winslett, Cameron Currey, Alisa Currey, Lucky Currey, Ethan Bays and Olivia Bays.

"My brother Dean told me of Ronnies death, one always intends to get in touch with people from the past that leave you with good thoughts of how people should be. Ronnie is a person that I havent seen in yearsyou just dont forget someone like Ronnie though. He was one of the most genuine people I knew. After all these years I can STILL see him laughing I used to babysit Travis when he was a little boy his dad thought the world of him. So Sorry for your lossmy prayers are with you."
