Bernice Beeson born June 23, 1927 in Cleveland, Texas to Melvin Whitmire and Bula Lee Buckalew, passed away June 20, 2011 in Onalaska, Texas at the age of 83. She is survived by her sons JD Beeson and wife Coly of Freer Harold Beeson and wife Sharon of Cleveland daughters Bertha Beeson, Catherine Beeson, Mary Brewer and husband Charles all of Onalaska brothers Ray Whitmire, D.D. Whitmire, Arthur Whitmire, Lewis Whitmire and Marion Whitmire sisters Melvie Whitmire, Pearl Poter, Hazel Whitmire, Odessa Casewell and Faybell Whitmire all of Cleveland ten grandchildren numerous great and greatgreat grandchildren and a host of relatives and friends. Ms. Beeson is preceded in death by her parents sons Robert Beeson and Harvey Beeson sister Lillian Tilton brother Buddy Whitmire and granddaughter Catherine Brewer. Visitation was held Wednesday, June 22, 2011 from 59pm at Pace Funeral Home. A Celebration of Life will be held Thursday, June 23, 2011 at 2:00 pm at the Pace Funeral Home Chapel.
