Lena Mae Smith born September 8, 1926 in Mineola, Texas, passed away April 25, 2011 in Livingston, Texas at the age of 84. Mrs. Smith was lovingly known to her family as Mama Ginger and by her friends as Ginger. Lena is survived by her loving husband of 66 years Malcolm Daddy Mickey Smith daughters Sheryn Major , Frankie Chavis and husband Paul soninlaw Dr. Norris Russ Russell grandchildren, James Russell Rusty Major and wife Jennifer, Jonathan Daniel Major and wife Erin, Reverend Jeremy Russell, Meredith Hines, Christopher Bain and wife Kandalynn, Matthew Bain, Lorri Chavis, Samantha Chavis and eleven greatgrandchildren. Lena Mae is preceded in death by her parents, James Richard and Mary Louise Marks daughter, Dr. Jimmie Louise Russell grandsons, Michael Bain and Kelly Bain and soninlaw Robert Russell Major. Graveside services for Mrs. Smith were Wednesday April 27, 2011 at 2:00 pm in Restland Memorial Park, Livingston, Texas. Pallbearers were Christopher Bain, Matthew Bain, James Russell Rusty Major, Jonathon Major, Dr. Norris Russ Russell and Vincent Thomas. Honorary pallbearers were Rev.
