Marian Mickie Rogers Kohl, 98 of Livingston died April 23, 2007. Mickie was born in Wapello, Iowa on December 1, 1908. She grew up and lived in eastern Iowa were she attended Mount Vernon local schools and Cedar Rapids Buisness College. She was a life time member of the Women's Society of the Methodist Church WSCS. Mickie also taught the Sunday nursery class of the Mount Vernon, Iowa Methodist Church for twenty - three years. She also was a member and past Matron of the Order of Eastern Star.
Mickie is preceeded in death by her husband of 64 years Walter E. Kohl, parents James and Carrie Leslie Rogers, one brother Bruce Rogers. She is survived by her loving daughter Judith Steiner and husband Richard, grandsons David Steiner and wife Maria, James Steiner and wife Diane, and three great grandchildren Sarah, Eric, and Juliana Steiner.
The family respectfully request donations be made on Mickie's behalf to the American Red Cross or a charity of your choice. Graveside services will be held in Mount Vernon Cemetery in Mount Vernon, Iowa.
