J. B. Loftin. Born to November 26, 1926 in Livingston, Texas to Otis and Emma Oliver Loftin, passed away February 18, 2011 in Conroe, Texas. J.B. retired from Mitchell Energy. His loving family includes, daughter, Marie Koester husband James son, Donald Loftin wife Joan brother Johnny Loftin wife Joyce sister, Idell Thomas two grandchildren, Shane Lallar and Tamara Snyder four greatgrandchildren special caregiver, David Franklin numerous other relatives and a host of friends. He is preceded in death by his wife, Helen Loftin brother, Jordon Loftin. A visitation was held Monday night at the Pace Funeral Home. A Celebration of J.B.s Life was held at 2pm February 22, 2011 at Pace Funeral Home. Interment followed to Bluewater Cemetery. Pallbearers were Steve Loftin, Zack Snyder, Kenneth Sullivan, Robert Boaen, Shannon Sullivan, Dusty Wells and Johnny Reily.
