"Please know that all of you are in my thoughts and prayers at this sad time. I have fond memories of Leonard from back when our children were growing up. My children Rossi, Shelly Nikki and I would frequently come out from Houston on weekends to visit Leonard, Sally, Allison Lori. He always seemed genuinely pleased to see us.

On more than one occasion, he goodheartedly got my car unstuck and was always willing to protect us city folk from the cows living in the field by his house as they habitually congregated at the gate as we were coming and going. Im sure that we will all recall many good memories in our dedication to celebrate and honor Leonards life."
