She was born Sept. 26, 1955 in Casper, Wyo. She was a Baptist and a member of Page Baptist Church in Page, Ariz. She loved growing plants and is described as someone who could put sa stick in the ground and make it grow.
Survivors include her mother and stepfather, James and Alice Mitchell; brother and sister-in-law, Stephen and Dana Mitchell; sister Rose English; niece, Angela Verville; nephews, Robert Bowman and William Bowman; two great-nieces and two great-nephews.
Graveside services will be held at 2 p.m. Friday, Feb. 3, in West Tempe Cemetery, with the Rev. Fred Alford officiating.
