Helen Jewel Kessler, 75, went to be with the Lord Monday, November 22, 2010, at Huntsville Memorial Hospital in Huntsville, Texas. Helen was born May 6, 1935 to William and Nancy Jones Davis in Lufkin, Texas. She is survived by her husband of 28 years, Andrew Herbert Kessler. children, William Liles wife Carol, James Liles wife Florence, Theresa Vowels and husband David, Frances Persinger and husband Gene, Leeland Davis, Andrew Kessler, Jr. Michael Kessler wife Rosemarie, Theresa Bonds and husband Anthony sisters, Dorothy Woods and Loretta Bridges brother, George Davis and wife Beulah Faye sister in law Joyce Davis 18 grandchildren and 19 great grandchildren. She is preceded in death by her father and mother, William and Nancy Davis, brother Valton Davis sisters Lucille Honeycutt and Leona Cole. Services were held Wednesday, November 24, 2010 at 2:00 PM at Mt. Zion Baptist Church in Lufkin, TX. Pallbearers were Larry Brown, Gary Walker, Johnny James, James Liles, Bret McLain and Nathan Bell.
