James Carlton Cox, Jr. went to be with the Lord Sunday, October 24, 2010 at his residence in Huntsville, Texas. Mr. Cox was born September 1, 1942 in El Paso, Texas to James Carlton Sr. and Dorothy Faye Hitchcock. Mr. Cox was a proud veteran of the Marine Corp. and worked for the San Jacinto County Sherriffs department, he belonged to the Harvest Field Church in Carlos, Texas. He is survived by his father, James Carlton Sr. his Children, Kimberly Ann Cox, Kathleen Nicole Cox, Crystal Lee Pool, Shannon Marie Torcoletti, James Carlton Cox III, John Corlis Cox brother Phillip Curtis Cox, Fifteen grandchildren and numerous other relatives and a host of friends. He is preceded in death by his mother, Dorothy Faye Hitchcock. Celebration of Life will be held at 5:00pm Wednesday at the Raven Hill Homestead. Pace Funeral Home was in charge of arrangements.
