In 1969, she gave birth to their daughter Barbara. She was an Air Force wife and traveled for 11 years. They married February 14, 1985. Later that year she gave birth to their son Kenneth Cody. She then became a stay at home Mom. As Cody got older, she began searching for and reuniting adoptees and birth parents. She felt that this was something that she was always meant to do, and continued to do so after moving to Livingston. She loved searching so much that she continued up until, due to illness, she could no longer sit at the computer. She also loved spending time with her family, seeing her grandkids, and visiting on the phone and computer with her extended search family. Those that went on before her include her parents, Herb Minnie Clark, her brother, Scott Clark, and her 2nd Mom, Shirley La La Brooks. She is survived by, Kenneth Strength, daughter Barbara and husband Rodger Serviss of Iowa, son Kenneth Cody and wife Cassandra Casey Strength of Livingston, grandchildren Elizabeth, Eric, and Elaine Serviss, and all that knew and loved her. "I would like to express my sincere condolences on the passing of your mother. I had the honor to be her friend for almost fifteen years and had the greatest respect for her honesty. I learned early on in our friendship never to ask her a question that I did not want her honest opinion on.

I do take great comfort in knowing that she was not alone in final hours and she is no longer suffering. May she rest in peace in the Kingdom of Heaven.
