"Dearest Erma and Curt, how we love you and miss Walt. Here is the eulogy which Fred wrote and read at the funeral.
Walter Sheldon Bradford was generous and willing to help his family and friends whenever he could. Uncle Walt always had a dollar in his pocket for nieces, Jennifer and Hillary. He enjoyed thaking them fishing and spending time with his... girls. When Kenleigh and Jocelyn came along, he enjoyed their antics and they made him smile. One of the highlights of visiting the Bradford house was Walters hot breakfsts, with Ermas homemade biscuits and Walts gravy and eggs. He was up early, had the coffee going, and enjoyed fixing breakfast for his visitors.
Walter and I enjoyed watching Fox News together. he wasnt much for political correctness. he believed in honesty and calling things for what they were. Walt was a country music fan, but one time I played a song called Get Over It by the Eagles. I thought he would like it and he did The songwriter tried to express the idea that sometimes we get into bad or unfortunate situations in our lives, but we need to learn from our experiences and mistakes and not blame others. In essence, to Get Over It., Manup and go forward. It fit him and his personality.
Walter was one of my first employers. he had an entrepreneurs spirit. He worked hard and pride in his work. he and Erma were able to build successful business throughout his life. We had fun reminiscing about past jobs and people that worked for him, especially Cecil.
My daughter Jennifer tells the story that the first pickup truck that she ever remember riding in was Uncle Walts. She loved when he would ask if she wanted to ride along with him somewhere. They would always play pool and the clawtoy machine. When she didnt win, he would take her out to his car to pick out a stuffed animal out of a box, and he always had one. Uncle Walt had a big heart and Jenifer always loved listening to his stories.
Walter, you will be missed. We love you and thank you for the kindness you showed to me and my family, and others. We are going to miss those hot breakfasts.

Rest in Peace, dear Walter. We hope to join you in glory at the sound of the trumpet."

"to Erma, Curtis and rest of the family Royce knew Walt a little longer than me, but I thought so highly of him the first time I met him about 9 years ago or so. I so much enjoyed his humor and kindness. Thoughts and prayers are with you at this sad time. God bless you all. Love, Royce and Leslie.."
