"I remember Daddy Harold when he was married to my mother, Emma Nell Bowers Norman, who lived with him in Houston--he was the favorite of Mother's numerous husbands and the very real presence and step-father to my sisters Nell and Crystal. Mother preceeded him in September, 2005. He taught us many things since he was with Mother since somewhere around 1958, even married her twice, and lived with her on their property in Livingston which they cleared together. I still have the bookcase that came from Rice University and he taught us how to "cut in" with a paintbrush many paintings ago. I never met his two boys since I was living in Oregon then but I remember his older child and the little boy he lost to death when the baby was only about two. Daddy Harold will always be with me in the things I do daily, beginning with "brush your hair when you get up and wash your face" something his own mother never did and it stuck with him when he became our step-dad. We all still love you, Daddy Harold, and will never forget you. Mother,Tony and Debbie are with you now in Heaven. Love, Elaine, Charlotte, Nell and Crystal. 918-746-5565, Elaine Blythe, Tulsa, Ok."
