Debra Janice Grant was born on April 6, 1953, to Code William Grant and Beatrice Lee Ball, in Wood River, Illinois. She passed away from this life on January 3, 2026, in Goodrich, Texas.

She is survived by her son, Thomas Newell & wife Maria; daughters, Christina Hale & husband Charles Sr., and Kimberly Negrete & husband Abraham; sisters, Linda Boatright, Corliss Grant, Cathy Clark, and Tameron Lagow; grandchildren, Charles Hale, Jacob Negrete, Ariana Negrete, Caydence Hale, Benjamin Newell and great- grandson, Charles "Trey" Hale III, as well as many other loved ones and a host of friends.

Debra is preceded in death by her parents, Code and Beatrice Grant, and sister Shirley Woolverton Dickerson.

Pallbearers: Thomas Newell, Abraham Negrete, Jerry Davis, Charles W. Hale, Jacob Negrete, and Charles Hale Sr.

A Visitation for Debra will be held from 5:00pm- 8:00pm, Friday, January 9, 2026, at Pace Funeral Home State Room, in Livingston, Texas.

A Celebration of Debra's Life will be held at 3:00pm, Saturday, January 10, 2025, at Pace Funeral Home, in Livingston, Texas.

Interment is to follow at Forest Hill Cemetery, in Livingston, Texas
