I served in the armed forces.
Lloyd James Blackstock, born December 22, 1943 in San Antonio, Texas, passed away on May 13, 2021 in Lufkin, Texas at the age of 77 years.

He is survived by his wife, Barbara Cox Blackstock; daughters, Loretta DeSpain & husband Bobby, Laura Roberts & husband Chuck, Jennie Strader & husband James; brothers, Bernie Blackstock, Clarence Blackstock & wife Linda; sisters, Sally Bice & husband Jim, Vergie Dreher & husband Leon, Elsie Hathorn & husband Billy, Ruth Bedford & husband Victor; nine grandchildren; twenty-five great grandchildren; numerous other relatives and a host of friends.

Lloyd is preceded in death by his parents, Gus & Mary Blackstock; daughter, Selma Blackstock; brother, Gus Blackstock Jr.; sisters, Judy Henthorn, Grace Crawford, Elizabeth Melton.

He was a veteran having served in the United States Navy, a 50-year member of the Texas Freemasons, C.A Fortner #1304 in Channelview, Tx and Trinity Lodge #14 in Livingston, Tx.

A Visitation will be held from 5:00 PM 9:00 PM, Sunday, May 16, 2020 at Pace Funeral Home.

A Celebration of Lloyd's Life will be held at 2:00 PM, Monday, May 17, 2021 at Pace Funeral Home with Pastor Bob White officiating.

Interment to follow at Oakdale Cemetery.
