Larry Lynn Edwards was born November 26, 1941, to Clarence A Edwards and Avo M Conover Edwards in Duncan, OK. He went to be with his Lord and Savior Jesus Christ on April 23, 2021.

Larry attended grade school, junior high and high school at Duncan, OK. He was Senior Class President, graduating in 1959. Larry attended Murray State College from the fall 1959 to spring of 1962, graduating with an A.S. degree in Science. In the fall of 1962 , he transferred to Oklahoma State University. He attended OSU for two years, graduating with a B.S. in Mechanical Engineering. While attending OSU he was a member of Pi Tau Sigma fraternity. In the summer of 1964, he attended Louisiana State University, Baton Rouge, LA on a scholastic scholarship studying Business Management. Larry obtained his MBA in 1966 and moved to Houston, to work for Texas Instruments.
While at LSU, Larry met Amelou Freeman who upon her graduation from LSU, moved to Houston to work for Coca-Cola. They were married a few years later at her parent's home in Sherveport, LA.

Larry and five partners started Reliability, Inc. in a garage and grew it into a multi-national company that was headquartered in Katy, Tx. Larry retired after serving many years as president of Reliability. He and Amelou moved to their lake home in Livingston, Tx.

He was a member of the First Baptist Church in Duncan, OK.

Larry is survived by one brother, Glen and his wife Marjorie, One niece, Noel Matheny and her husband Mark, two nephews, Jay Freeman and his wife Melissa; and JT Edwards and his wife Merritt; numerous great nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by his wife, Amelou in 2011, his father, Clarence in 1973, and his mother, Avo in 2001.
