He is survived by his wife of 41 years, Barbara Alpers; children, Rickie Alpers & wife Michelle, Joe Anderson & wife Shelly, Donna Bridgeman & husband Bobby, Jonie Ellis & husband Tommy, Johnny Anderson & wife Kelley, Charles Alpers; brothers, John Alpers & wife Brenda, James Alpers & wife Sharon; sisters, Freda Morris & husband Roland, Judy Rucker; twenty-two grandchildren; numerous great grandchildren; numerous other relatives and a host of friends.
Fred is preceded in death by his parents J.L. & Ruby Alpers; two brothers.
He was a Veteran in the United States Army having served in Vietnam.
A Visitation will be held from 5:00 PM 8:00 PM, Thursday, April 1, 2021 at Pace Funeral Home.
A Celebration of Fred's Life will be held at 1:00 PM, Friday, April 2, 2021 at Pace Funeral Home.
Interment to follow at Menard Chapel Cemetery.
