He is preceded in death by his parents John Sr and Beth Burns. His brother-in-law Charles Henry Campbell, his mother-in-law & father in-law Mr. & Mrs. Charlie T. Carleton, sister in-law Kathy Carleton and his cat lit Buddy.
He is survived by his wife Brenda Carleton Burns of 47 years and his two cats' patches & little girl, two sisters Elaine Morgan and LaVelle Campbell. Numerous nieces and nephews, great nieces and nephews, great great nieces and nephews and many cousins.
John served as Pastor 10 years. He leaves a legacy of service to his Lord and Savior by the souls he reached through his dedication of time to his fellow brothers and sisters.
