William James Fetter, born March 29, 1946 in Schenectady, New York, passed away on October 3, 2020 in Austin, Texas at the age of 74 years.

He is survived by his sons, Jai Fetter, David Fetter; daughter, Rebecca Wilson & husband Keith; brother, Roy Fetter & wife Barbara; sister, Tammy Fetter; sister-in-law, Beverly Fetter; grandchildren, Alexis Ruiz-Velasco, Brenden Wilson, Dominik Wilson, Abbygayle Fetter; numerous other relatives and a host of friends.

William is preceded in death by his parents, Raymond & Helen Fetter; sister, June O'Connell; brothers, Raymond Fetter, David Fetter, Mark Fetter.

He was a veteran having served in the United States Army.

    Rest in Peace Brother Bill Fetter. I knew Bill as a fraternity brother with Lambda Chi Alpha at St. Mary's. Bill had already graduated with I became a member. Regardless, we became fast friends and stayed in touch while he was in Houston. One semester,I was short on cash to pay for tuition and books. Bill provided a much needed payday loan. You never forget kindness such as that.
