A graveside service will be held Monday, July 27, 2020 at 10am at Mt Hope cemetery in Chester TX with pastor Chris Knox officiating.
Luther Powell "Peck" Morrell of Moscow TX was born September 5, 1929 in Houston TX to Bob and Minnie Morrell and passed away July 24, 2020 in Lufkin TX. He is survived by four sons, David Wayne Morrell, Allen Ray Morrell, John Charles Allsbrooks and Robert Darrel Allsbrooks and two grandchildren, Jayce Carter Allsbrooks and Laci Shea Allsbrooks. He is preceded in death by his wife Charline, parents Bob and Minnie Morrell, brothers Robert Earl and Zachary Taylor, and sisters Hazel, Emma Lee and Willie Jo. He was a carpenter by trade and enjoyed farming.
