Rockville, MD Friday, March 13, 2020 Daniel, a high-school friend who sat across the aisle from me in home room, was always fun to be around. Though we were out of touch after high school, we reconnected at the 50th class reunion and met one other time at a restaurant with Tommie and my sister, Alice. Occasionally, out of the blue, I'd get a text about a favorite sports team who had won or lost. When I didn't hear from him after the Super Bowl, I decided to initiate the call. To my sorrow, the phone had been disconnected and I knew in my heart he was probably gone. Tonight I remembered and decided to look and found his obit. Tommie, I share your sorrow and loss and know exactly what you are experiencing as I lost my husband just two weeks ago. I regret not having the chance to go back to Houston and invite you and Daniel to church with us as he had mentioned in one of his calls. My prayers are with you. Stay close to God in your life and remember the good times you and Daniel had together. My heartfelt condolences to you and your family.Emilye Hill
