He is survived by wife, Belinda Wright; sons, Curtis Vernon Wright & wife Candi; Brandon Christopher Wright; daughters, Sherri Lynn Lewis, Breana Nacol Cunningham; brother, Calvin Wright; grandchildren, Catilyn, Curtis Jr., Shyann, Shawn, Michael, Bonnie and Clyde; great grandchild, Dalton Jr.; numerous other relatives and a host of friends.
Vernon is preceded in death by his parents, Vernon & Ida Wright; son, Roy Wright.
He was a General Supervisor for Tejas Underground, having worked with them for 23 years.
A Visitation will be held from 10:00 am Saturday, November 16, 2019 until the Service at Pace Funeral Home.
A Celebration of Vernon's Life will be held, at 11:30 am also Saturday, November 16, 2019 at Pace Funeral Home with Pastor David Risinger officiating.

New Caney, TX Friday, November 15, 2019 I had the privilege of knowing and working for Vernon for the past 10 years. I considered him one of my best friends in the industry. I will sorely miss the opportunity to speak with him about what he had going on and what I could do to make his life easier. My heartfelt condolences go out to his family members and co-workers.
