She was a member of the Onalaska First Baptist Church in Onalaska, Texas.

Melrose is preceded in death by her parents, Aytch & Sussie (Cook) Flack; husband, Tommy Wilson; sisters, Jean Cantwell, Dennie Joe Jackson,Jerry Lentz and Como Brooks; brothers Aytch Flack Jr. and Richard Flack. Numerous other relatives and a host of friends.
