Leo Marvin Whitmire Sr.
July 10, 1938 - August 13, 2026

Leo Marvin Whitmire Sr. was born July 10, 1938 in La Porte, Texas, to Luther Marvin and Aslee (Watson) Whitmire. He passed from this life on August 13, 2026, in Kingwood, Texas, at the age of 88.

Leo is preceded in death by his parents; son, Larry M Whitmire; and brother Herbert Whitmire.

Left to cherish his memory is his beloved wife of 64 years, Dorothy Whitmire; daughter Lisa Whitmire Chaney; son, Leo M. Whitmire, Jr. and wife Denise; as well as numerous grandchildren and great- grandchildren.

Leo proudly served in the United states Airforce. After discharge from the service he was a barber for 60+ years. He sang and played in a band in Houston called Danny Angel and the Rocking Kings.
