Marie Ortega Reyna was born to Esperanza Martinez and Braulio Ortega on September 13, 1948, in Dallas Texas. She passed peacefully from this life on May 29, 2026 in Livingston Texas at the age of 77.

She is survived by her father Braulio Ortega; husband Arthur Reyna and children Mercedes Rogers & husband Mike, Michelle Hansford & husband Jim, Michael Martinez; stepchildren Christina Shrader, Arthur Reyna Jr; siblings, Tricia Sendejas & husband Tino, Linda Moya & husband Ernest, Rora Retta & husband Tony; grandchildren Zechariah Bolden, Michael Jones, Matthew Maykopet, Ashley Gutierrez, Cyrus Martinez, James Hansford, Kaytin Jordan, Kristina Gulledge, and Kollin Reyna, as well as many other loved ones.

She is preceded in death by her mother and first husband Freddie Martinez.

A visitation for Marie will be held at 10:00 AM, Saturday, June 13, 2026, at Pace Funeral Home, in Livingston, Texas with a Celebration of Life to begin at 11:00AM.
