Julia "Judy" Frances Buller
July 24, 1926 - May 16, 2026

Julia (Judy) Frances Buller passed into Eternal Life on May 16, 2026. She was preceded by her parents Jack Clarence Lapiro and Pearl M (Martin) Lapiro. Born in Okmulgee Oklahoma, and spending her youth in the Texas Panhandle, New Mexico and Colorado before permanently residing in Houston, Texas. Judy made friends easily and worked with her parents at their grocery store (Jacks Grocery) where she met Maude Keen. Maude introduced Judy to her nephew (and Judy's future husband) Talmadge Levell Buller.

Talmadge and Judy married on June 15, 1949, in Houston and raised two children. Alan Ransom (Randy) and Val R. Buller. Ransom (Randy) is a musician and business owner of Premium Metals and Tubes.

Julia enjoyed being a wife and homemaker. She was faithfully married to her husband for almost 62 years. Talmadge L. Buller passed on May 8, 2011. She worked for many years, and her last job was at Region 4 Educational Service Center.

Julia and Talmadge had five grandchildren, Daniel Alan Buller, Brian Andrew Buller, Marley Buller Bice), Adrian Paul Buller, and Lucile Mae (Buller) Amaya. And three great-grandchildren, Oliver Grayden Buller, Dylan Marianne Dochney and Dakota Alan Buller.

Julia made friends easily and had new friends at church after being a widow including Gigi Kihlberg and then at her Sunday school class at Garden Oaks Baptist Church.

Julia was cared for in her old age by her loving son Val in his home with help from two loving caregivers Jill Lester and Deborah Melder.

Funeral service will be held at Garden Oaks Baptist Church in Houston, Texas on Saturday May 23, 2026, at 11:00 AM, viewing begins in 10:00 AM.
