Following his graduation from Tomball High School in 1957, he enlisted in the US Navy and received an appointment to the US Naval Academy in Annapolis, MD from Congressman Albert Thomas. Harry was an avid Texan, outdoorsman and sports fan with a particular love of ice hockey. His love of hockey culminated into 5 years of coaching youth ice hockey in Houston. Another interest Harry participated in was softball as he enjoyed coaching.

Take care dad, until we meet again.
