Reverend Jimmy Rogers, born May 26, 1936 in Simms, Texas, passed away on March 24, 2020 in Livingston, Texas at the age of 83 years.

He is survived by his wife Sarah Rogers; daughters, Vera Christy & husband Michael, Rebekah Dowdy & husband Darrell; grandchildren, Joshua Chesnutt, Jack Hollis; great grandchildren, Remy Chesnutt; numerous other relatives and a host of friends.

Jimmy is preceded in death by his parents, Charlie & Dessie Rogers; brother, Charles Rogers; sister, Margie Johnson; son, James Harvey Rogers; grandson, James Daniel Chesnutt.

A Celebration of Life will be held at 1:00 PM, May 30, 2020 at Pace Funeral Home with Leroy Surface officiating.
