Pamela Diane Wellman, born June 11, 1965 in Houston, Texas passed away on December 28, 2018 in Onalaska, Texas at the age of 53 years.
She is survived by her mother, Lillie Johnson & husband Herman; daughter, April Nguyen & husband Tony; granddaughter Julianna; brother, John Morris; sisters, Linda Haynes & husband Greg, Patricia Fincher and husband Roscoe (Baney), Deborah Haynes, and Shelly Johnson; and numerous other relatives and a host of friends.
Pamela is preceded in death by Her father, Clarence Highfield; and sister, Marion Kay Hinton.
Pamela is remembered by her family and friends for the love in her heart for others. She enjoyed riding motorcycles, the beach, butterflies and wildflowers. Her daughter, April, was the center of her world. Pamela exhibited an insurmountable amount of courage and strength throughout her life, especially in the last few months of her journey. Family and friends could always count on her to stand up for justice and peace. She believed in Jesus Christ and had faith in His healing power. Pamela had a humble heart and enjoyed helping children in her community through her volunteer work with Toys for Tots. Her smile lit up the room and gave hope to those it touched.
Visitation will be held Monday December 31, 2018 at Pine Forest Baptist Church 10537 Highway 190 West Onalaska, Texas starting at 11:00am – till service.
A Celebration of Pamela’s Life will begin at 12:00 PM Monday, December 31, 2018, at Pine Forest Baptist Church with Dr. Sean Ferry officiating.
