Daniel Louis Dopson, born March 21, 1936 to John and Ruth Dopson in Charles Town, West Virginia, passed away on December 4, 2018 in Houston, Texas at the age of 82 years.
He is survived by his wife, Nancy Dopson; sons, Daniel Dopson & wife Jennifer of Hagerstown, MD, Stephen Dopson & wife Julie of Martinsburg, WV, Michael Dopson & wife Kathy of Harpers Ferry, WV; seven grandchildren, Sarah, Tyler, Andrew, Dylan, Hannah, Aaron and Deanna; one great grandchild, Hartley; numerous other relatives and a host of friends.
Daniel is preceded in death by his parents, John & Ruth Dopson; brothers, William Dopson, Donald Dopson and John Dopson; sisters, Lucille Daffara and Charlotte Rutherford.
He retired from GTE and University of Texas.
