Virginia Colunga, born March 24, 1946 to Arturo and Solidad Lopez in Houston, Texas, passed away on December 6, 2018 in Livingston, Texas at the age of 72 years.
She is survived by her husband; Valente Colunga; children; Rochelle McKenney & husband Cody, Anne Longoria, Frank Longoria & wife Maria, Eric Longoria, Esmeralda Colunga & husband Ray; sisters, Lillian Canales, Elisa Gutierrez & husband Alberco Moldonado, Sarah Lopez, Arthur Lopez, Evelyn Cordona, Linda Luna, Elizabeth Medina grandchildren; Brian Zurek & wife Courtney, Alyssa Zurek & husband Chad Day, Ashley Longoria-Meeks & husband Thomas, Justin Gomez, Frankie Longoria and Sarah Mejia, Demetre Colunga, Stephon Colunga, Miracle Colunga; great grandchildren; Joseph Zurek, Jayce Zurek, Brannon Day and Samson Day; nieces and nephews; Soli Gutierrez & partner Danielle O’Neal, Jennifer Garza & husband Albert, Andrew Gutierrez & wife Angel, great nieces; Solara Gutierrez and Mia Gutierrez; numerous other relatives and a host of friends.
Virginia is preceded in death by her parents; Authoro Lopez and Shirley Canales.
She was a faithful member of Kingdom Hall of Jehovah’s Witnesses.
A Celebration of Virginia’s life will be Thursday, December 13, 2018 at 5:00 PM at Pace Funeral Home with Mr. Randy Maze officiating.
