Douglas Glynn Hicks, born on September 5, 1935 to Marshall H. and Anna (Wells) Hicks in Carlisle, Arkansas, passed away on December 7, 2017 in Houston, Texas at the age of 82 years.
Douglas proudly served in the United States Airforce during the Korean War.
His loving family includes; wife, Toni Hicks; children, Tina M. Hicks, Douglas G. Hicks, Jr., Julia Diane Evans & husband, Billy A.; grandchildren, Jared P. Hicks & wife, Amanda Romero, Anthony Turner, Jr., Tasha R. Schumann & husband, Ashley; great grandchildren, Devyn W. Turner, Hailey Turner, Kohl Hicks, Presley Hicks, Jared Hicks, Jr., Macey Schumann, Abigail Schumann, April Schumann; and numerous other relatives and a host of friends.
Douglas is preceded in death by his parents; brothers, W.P. (Red) Hicks, Marshall Eugene (Gene) Hicks, Doyle C. Hicks, Billy D, Hicks, sister, Betty S. Hicks Bailey, former wives and mother of his children, Angie L. Hicks and Drinda E. Hicks
Visitation will be held on Tuesday, December 12, 2017 from 5 p.m. to 8 p.m. at Pace Funeral Home in Livingston, Texas. Funeral Service will begin at Noon on Wednesday, December 13, 2017 at Pace Funeral Home with Pastor Harold Isaacs officiating. Interment to follow at Brookside Cemetery in Houston, Texas. Pallbearers; Devyn W. Turner, Ashley Schumann, Joseph Hicks, Michael Hicks, Marshall Bailey, and Hunter Bailey.
