Jo Imogene Richardson Hilton of Livingston, Texas, passed away on April 18,2017, at the age of 89. Imogene was born March 10, 1928, to William “Bill” Richardson and Bonnie Phoebe Clarke Richardson in Leggett, Texas. She attended school in Leggett and Beaumont, graduating from Beaumont High in 1945.
In 1959, Imogene married Johnson Howard Hilton in the Livingston First Baptist Church, where she has been an active and dedicated member for nearly sixty years. On July 19, 2009, Imogene and Howard celebrated their fiftieth anniversary with family at their home where Imogene lived a quiet, full life as a devoted wife and mother.
Imogene Hilton is survived by four sons, Bruce Ott and wife, Bobbie, of Livingston, Dale Ott and wife, Trish, of Neches, Gary Ott of Lakeway, and Tracy Hilton and wife, Amy, of Livingston. Imogene is also survived by seven grandchildren, Cortney Ott Kuban and husband, Robert, of Nacogdoches, Adam Ott and wife, Jessica, of Huffman, Ryan Ott of Neches, Brannon Ott of Neches, Katie Hilton of Livingston, Matthew Hilton of Livingston, and Amber Hilton of Livingston. Four great-grandchildren, Carter and Reese Ott of Huffman, and Chase and Axel Kuban of Nacogdoches, complete the immediate family.
Imogene was preceded in death by her husband (2014), her parents (1977, 1978), and her sister and only sibling, Billene Richardson Hargraves (1993).
Visitation will be from 5:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m., Wednesday, April 19, 2017, at Pace Funeral Home of Livingston. Funeral services are scheduled for 2:00 p.m., Thursday, April 20, 2017, at Pace Funeral Home with interment following at Livingston’s Forest Hill Cemetery. The services will be officiated by Kevan Wood.
Pallbearers are Adam Ott, Ryan Ott, Brannon Ott, Matthew Hilton, Carter Ott, and Robert Kuban. Honorary pallbearers are Caregivers Emily Walker, Kristina Butler, and Laura Rains.
