C. L. Alphin (Clarence), born May 18, 1931 to the late Clarence and Sadie Alphin in Fort Worth, Texas, went to be with his Lord on August 15, 2016 in Houston, Texas, at the age of 85 years.
He retired from Camco Incorporated in 1996 as Head of World Wide Production Inventory Control and founded Automart in three locations in Houston, Texas. He was an accomplished musician and played locally until recently.
C.L.'s loving family includes; his beloved spouse, Helene Alphin of Livingston, Texas; son, Ronnie of Corpus Christi, Texas, Claude Baldree Jr of Houston, Texas; daughters, Teresa Weatherly & spouse, Lonnie of Houston, Texas, Cindy Dial of Pasadena, Texas, Ellen Kirkland of Houston, Texas; brothers, Charles Alphin & spouse, Vera, Danny Alphin; sisters, Fleta Jones & spouse, Jimmy, Glenda Paris & spouse, Billy; four grandchildren, Mike Weatherly & spouse, Allison, Ryan Weatherly & spouse, Sandra, Jeff Dial & spouse, Amy, Joshua Dial; three great grandchildren, Gabriel Weatherly, Jack Weatherly, Kenneth Dial; and numerous other relatives and a host of friends.
Visitation will be held on Wednesday, August 17, 2016 from 5:00 p.m. to 8 p.m. at Pace Funeral Home in Livingston, Texas. Celebration of C. L.’s life will begin at 11:00 a.m. on Thursday, August 18, 2016 at the Beech Creek Assembly of God in Livingston, Texas with Pastor Don Goodwin officiating.
