Kenneth Raymond Montgomery went to be with his Lord on January, 25, 2016 in Livingston, Texas. He was born in Annapolis, Maryland to Charles Marvin Montgomery and Brenda (Henderson) Gates.
He is survived by his beloved wife, Jeanette F. Montgomery of 26 years, his mother; Brenda Gates, four sons; Kenneth R. Montgomery, Jr., & wife, Devona, Tyler Clayton Montgomery Dustin Clayton Montgomery, and Nolan Jacob Montgomery; Two daughters; Caressa La’Sha Montgomery, and Chasity Nicole Montgomery; two sisters; Sissy Hamilton, and Maudie Gomez & husband Andy; and one brother; Steven Walker and two grandchildren; Kenneth (Tre’) R. Montgomery III, and Charles Lane Montgomery and numerous other relatives and a host of friends. Kenneth is preceded in death by his father and grandmother’s; Eveline Fumea, and Dorthy Montgomery. Kenneth was very actively involved with the Livingston Youth football and softball teams.
Visitation will be held on Thursday, January 28, 2016 from 5-8pm at the Pace Funeral Home in Livingston, TX. Services will be held on Friday, January 29, 2016 at 11:00am at the First Baptist Church, 106 Colt Rd., Livingston, TX. A Lunch Celebration will be held afterwards.
