W.T. “Bill” Taylor Jr., born on February 9, 1931 in Camden, Texas to Willie William Taylor and Roxie Belle Cummings Taylor, went to be with his Lord on August 13, 2015 in Tyler, Texas at the age of 84. Those left to cherish his memory are wife, Yuvonne Stone Taylor of 46 years; sons, Bill D. Taylor and wife Marilyn, Roger Taylor, Jeffrey Taylor and wife Janice; daughters, Patti Taylor, Teresa Taylor and Kristen Taylor; 12 grandchildren; numerous great grandchildren and great-great grandchildren; other family and dear friends. Bill was preceded in death by both his parents, son, Mark Taylor; brother, Edward Taylor; sister, Florence Gulley. Bill worked in the oil field business for over 45 years. He and his wife owned Taylor Made Oil Tools in Texas and Louisiana. He travel often to Asia and other countries. Bill was considered a very talented man and was knowledgeable in all areas of the oil field industry. He loved to hunt, fish and play 42; Bill proudly served in the United States Air Force. Bill loved his Lord very much and felt very honored of being baptist-ed in the Jordan River. Being a family man, he loved his family very much and will be missed dearly. A man of true character and lived life to the fullest. Visitation will be held at Pace Funeral Home, 200 FM 350 North Livingston, Texas from 8:00 A.M. to 11:00 A.M. on Tuesday, August 18, 2015. A Celebration of Bill's Life will be held at Center Grove Church 5961 FM 2500 Livingston, Texas at 2:00 P.M. with Brother Steve Waldrep officiating. Pallbearers, Roger Taylor, Zachary Taylor, Bill Taylor, Billy Taylor, Jeffrey Taylor and Dylan Taylor. Honorary bearers, Matt Taylor and Cody Taylor.
